Development Finance Group (DFG) executive director Mr. Samar Hasnain announced that government will soon launch the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar scheme with formal disbursement under the newly developed scheme will start on august 31st.

According to him, the government is working on strategies to make this initiative practical and sustainable. He also stated that the MPMG program is linked to 40 plus companies and industries which will eventually boost our construction sector for a healthier economy.

This initiative was started by former Prime Minister Imran Khan who marked the approval of PKR 100bn for the low-cost housing project titled “Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar” and termed it a “big moment” for Pakistan.
