The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) has officially revised its service
charges for the financial year 2025–26. This move is set to impact all property transactions across Punjab, including those in Lahore. These new rates are effective immediately
and apply to a wide range of services, including property transfers, certified copies, and e-registration.
PLRA has also introduced a 0.1% property valuation fee on all purchase
and sale transactions through the e-registration portal, with a minimum charge
of PKR 3,300, applicable even to non-sale transactions.
For approved housing societies integrating with PLRA’s digital system, a
one-time onboarding charge of PKR 5,000 per property has been introduced.
The updated charges are part of PLRA’s efforts to enhance service
quality, digitize land records, and improve infrastructure for real estate
management in Punjab. However, the higher costs, especially for express
services and digital transactions, may increase the overall expense for buyers,
sellers, and real estate agents.
At Dreams Marketing, we advise our clients and investors to carefully review the new rates when planning any property transactions in Lahore or anywhere in Punjab. For further details, consult the official PLRA portal or your local land record center.
