scheme, revealing that the provincial government will disburse 75,000

its launch, the program has already benefited 50,000 citizens across Punjab.
Speaking at a special ceremony
at the Expo Centre Lahore, the Chief Minister emphasized that the scheme is
aimed at supporting low-income families in building their own homes. So far,
more than PKR 74 billion in interest-free loans have been released under the
initiative, with an impressive 99% recovery rate in the first phase.
·
37,000 families
have already received both installments of their housing loans.
·
Over 52,000 homes
are under construction, out of which 9,000 have been completed, while 45,000
are still being built.
·
The scheme offers
loans for 5 to 10 marla houses, with easy monthly installments of PKR 15,000,
making homeownership more accessible.
The event was attended by
thousands of beneficiaries, many sharing heartfelt stories of how the program
has changed their lives. From a rickshaw driver to women aspiring to build
their dream homes, citizens expressed deep gratitude to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam
Nawaz for turning the dream of homeownership into reality.
