UAE Investors Eye Real Estate and Tourism Opportunities in Islamabad

A high-profile delegation of investors from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) held an important meeting with the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, to explore investment opportunities in Islamabad’s real estate, hospitality, and tourism sectors.

The meeting, held at the CDA Headquarters, focused on upcoming mega projects in Islamabad. Officials highlighted the city’s increasing demand for modern hotels, commercial real estate, and tourism infrastructure, presenting Islamabad as a prime destination for foreign investment in Pakistan.

Major Investment Prospects in Islamabad

Hotels & Hospitality: With the capital’s growing need for world-class accommodation, investors were briefed on lucrative opportunities in the hotel industry.

Commercial Real Estate: Islamabad’s business districts are expanding, making commercial developments highly profitable.

Tourism Projects: Completed feasibility studies include a state-of-the-art theme park and a cable car system, designed with sustainable and profitable business models to attract international investors.

CDA’s Commitment to Investors

Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa assured the UAE investors that the authority is fully committed to providing a business-friendly environment. He emphasized:

“CDA is creating uniform and excellent opportunities for investors. Gaining the confidence of investors in Islamabad is our top priority.”

He further noted that internationally recognized consultancy firms have conducted financial viability studies to ensure long-term success of these projects.

The UAE delegation expressed strong interest in Islamabad’s real estate, hospitality, and tourism markets, acknowledging the capital’s potential for high-value, world-class projects. According to CDA officials, this engagement marks a significant step in promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) in Pakistan’s real estate sector.

The session was also attended by senior CDA members, including Talat Mahmood (Member Administration and Estate), Syed Nafasat Raza (Member Engineering), and Dr. Khalid Hafiz (Member Planning and Design).
